During the span of their ruling various art forms emerged such as Pacchikari (inlay Work), kalamkari (Calligraphy),Chitrakari (Painting), Kashimkari (Tessellated work), Zardozi (Embroidery) etc. Embroidery art loomed large during the tenure of Jahangeer as his consort Noorjahan was a great lover of this art. With the passage of time several craftsmen gained rewards, Pensions for their outstanding work and the masterpiece which they prepared for the decoration of Mughal palaces.

Post debacle of the Mughal regime Zardozi Art decayed as it could not find a great pattern like those of Mughals. Several artisans shifted to other occupations to earn their livelihood. Just two decades back Kalra brothers Mr. Shakti and Mr. Kirti took uphill task to revive this decaying art and popularize it across India and the overseas. They Opened a firm Sanskriti Gems. This duo invited the old families who were doing Zardozi work and were defthanded in doing this work.
Presently Samskriti Gems is a glittering star in the firmament of Zardozi work. The owners of the firm with their keen insight and aesthetic nature prepare the designs themselves. Sanskriti Gems in its private museum inhabits the masterpieces of Late Shams who is Padmshree awardee for this glorified art work. Sanskriti Gems Museum is equipped with modern gadgets and technology to display the masterpieces. Such pieces of art allure the visitor and leave them etherised.
